Employment: 18-Month Contract
Location: Waterloo, ON - 5x Per MONTH
Pay: $48-$52
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the New Business Experience team for a top insurance client. This individual will be responsible for leading a large, complex initiative focused on integrating multiple technology and delivery teams to build new illustration capabilities for the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive, business-minded Project Manager who can bring structure to complex environments, manage cross-functional dependencies, identify risks before they impact delivery, and drive teams toward measurable business outcomes. This role requires strong technology acumen combined with excellent business and executive communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from planning through implementation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-8+ years of Project Management experience
-Experience delivering large-scale and complex technology projects while maintaining a strong focus on business value and outcomes
-Relevant insurance, financial services, or similar industry experience
-Strong experience managing multiple teams, workstreams, and complex interdependencies
-Experience leading and owning cross-functional project teams of up to 20 people
-Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience managing projects in a hybrid delivery environment
-Demonstrated experience with project planning, risk management, dependency management, and proactively identifying potential delivery issues
-Strong stakeholder management skills and exceptional communication skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives and internal/external change management
-Experience with illustration technology or illustration capabilities within the insurance industry
-Digital technology transformation experience
