Pay: $55-$67/hour

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise application, software, database, and infrastructure projects for one of our large banking clients. This role is heavily focused on project governance, process adherence, financial tracking, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and audit readiness. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through closure while ensuring compliance with PMO standards and established delivery methodologies.

This is not a portfolio or strategic program management role. The ideal candidate enjoys working in the details, maintaining project controls, producing high-quality documentation, managing project financials, and ensuring projects remain on track through strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and project artifacts

Manage project governance activities, stage gates, approvals, and compliance requirements

Own project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoice management, and spend reporting

Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and maintain meeting minutes and action logs

Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions

Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability for project deliverables

Prepare executive status reports, dashboards, and steering committee materials

Support resource planning, onboarding/offboarding, and capacity discussions

Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready

Identify schedule variances and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Project Management experience delivering technology projects within a structured PMO environment.

Strong project governance experience, including project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, action tracking, meeting minutes, and audit-ready documentation.

Experience managing project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, spend reporting, invoices, and financial reconciliation.

Proven ability to manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications from initiation through closure.

Strong communication and organizational skills with a willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day project execution rather than operating strictly at a leadership level.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Banking or financial services experience.

PMP certification or formal Project Management training.

Experience supporting application, database, software, or infrastructure-related projects.

Experience working on large-scale enterprise initiatives
