Location: Toronto
Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite
Contract: 6 months potential of extension
Pay rate: $45-50/hour
Must Haves:
-5+ years of Software Engineering experience
-Very strong hands-on Python development experience
-Experience working with Databricks in a production environment
-Experience building or supporting LLM-based solutions - They use MS Co-Pilot, but Claude, etc is transferrable.
-Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
-MCP (Model Context Protocol)
-Experience utilizing LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks
-Strong understanding of APIs, backend application development, and system integrations
-Ability to manage multiple features, initiatives, or large epics concurrently

Responsibilities
Build or support LLM-based solutions, including hands-on work with RAG and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain. Develop and support backend applications, APIs, and system integrations while managing multiple features, initiatives, or large epics concurrently.
Requirements
Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong hands-on Python skills, and production experience with Databricks. Candidates must also have experience with LLM-based solutions, RAG, MCP, and LangChain or a similar orchestration framework, along with strong API, backend development, and integration knowledge.
