JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a Commercial Banking team at a leading bank in Downtown Toronto.
This individual will support a large-scale KYC modernization and new development initiative, helping modernize existing applications and design solutions that integrate with the bank’s current technology environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, development, low-level design, application modernization, and AWS cloud technologies, with experience in banking/KYC and AI architecture considered an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design technical solutions for a large-scale KYC modernization and new development initiative.
- Modernize existing applications while integrating new capabilities into the bank’s current technology environment.
- Create solution architecture and low-level technical designs.
- Partner with developers, BAs, business stakeholders, and other architects throughout the SDLC.
- Support application design, development, integration, testing, and production deployment.
- Help introduce AI capabilities into existing applications and production environments.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and integration requirements.
We may use AI to source resumes and conduct interviews with recruiter oversight.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of Solution Architecture experience.
- Strong development background with the ability to understand code and technical design.
- Experience creating low-level designs (LLDs).
- Proficiency with AWS, Angular, and cloud technologies.
- Commercial Banking or financial services experience.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale banking modernization or new-build initiatives.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- KYC / AML experience.
- Experience deploying AI capabilities into production.
Pay: 80-85
