This is net new role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an new position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. UX Researcher for a Big 5 Banking client supporting its Global Asset Management business. This individual will operate as a senior research leader responsible for leading complex and highly strategic research initiatives that influence product, design, and broader experience strategy.

The Sr. UX Researcher will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to identify research priorities, define research strategies, and determine the appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies for complex business and customer problems. They will independently lead research from initial problem framing and research planning through execution, synthesis, storytelling, and strategic recommendations.

In addition to hands-on research leadership, this role will have a meaningful Research Operations component. This may include supporting participant recruitment, managing client and advisor research panels, improving research governance and processes, and helping ensure teams have consistent access to the right participants and research capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced researcher who can move comfortably between strategic leadership and hands-on execution. They should be able to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, connect research findings to broader business and product priorities, and establish credibility as a strategic research partner within a complex enterprise environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

8+ years of UX Research experience, ideally at a senior, lead, or principal level
Experience leading complex, strategic research programs in large organizations
Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills across multiple methodologies
End-to-end research experience, from discovery and ideation through launch and optimization
Ability to translate research into strategic product and experience recommendations
Strong experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
Experience with research operations, including participant recruitment, panels, or research governance
Ability to work independently in complex, ambiguous environments

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Financial services, wealth management, asset management, or investment experience
Experience researching client and/or advisor populations
Experience managing research panels or participant communities
Experience with research governance, standards, or best practices
Strong B2C research experience
Ability to combine quantitative data with qualitative insights to inform strategy
CFS designation or Private Wealth experience
