Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for validating aeronautical structures across a variety of programs, including:
- New product development
- Systems integration
- Structural repairs and modifications
- Airworthiness and certification activities
- Commercial and defense aerospace initiatives
This role combines hands-on technical analysis with mentorship and leadership responsibilities within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses of aircraft structures
- Validate structural designs using both classical methods and finite element analysis (FEA)
- Support certification and airworthiness compliance activities
- Analyze and substantiate metallic and composite aircraft structures
- Review and prepare engineering reports and certification documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, testing, and certification teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of aerospace structural analysis experience
- Extensive experience with metallic and composite aircraft structures
- Proficiency with FEA tools
- Experience reviewing and approving structural-analysis deliverables
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience
Compensation:
$120K - $160K per year + full benefits packages
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
