JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Leader to join a global leader in the design and development of high-performance CMOS and CCD image sensors, focal plane arrays, and cameras for Airborne and Space applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical success of one or more product development projects, ensuring final products meet customer specifications while identifying and mitigating technical risk. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will provide hands-on technical leadership to a cross-functional team of sensor, electronics, mechanical, process, and test specialists. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on product development experience and the ability to work effectively across multiple technical disciplines. This position requires someone who can contribute independently while also providing technical direction and support to broader project teams. Key Responsibilities • Support the technical execution and success of one or more product development projects. • Ensure products meet defined customer requirements and technical specifications. • Identify and help mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle. • Provide hands-on technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Work closely with sensor, electronics, mechanical, process, and test specialists. • Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, CMOS development, and other internal groups. • Support technical decision-making and technology development. • Contribute independently as a technical expert while effectively supporting the broader project team. • Communicate technical information clearly to internal stakeholders and customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Multidisciplinary background more than one of the following; Defense, Aerospace, Semiconductor, Optics, Image Sensors, Physics, or Nanotechnology

• 4-8 years of experience product development in a relevant industry

• Knowledge of CMOS image sensors and/or semiconductor technologies.

• Customer-facing experience and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

• Proven ability to contribute to or lead multiple technical projects

• Physics or advanced engineering educational background.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of the CMOS or CCD imaging technology
