Technician

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on technical/mechanical experience
• Background in automotive mechanics, truck/trailer repair, heavy-duty equipment, diesel engines, or mobile equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Able to meet required criminal background screening
• Canadian citizen per client requirement
• No degree required
• Strong willingness to learn and build a long-term career
• Comfortable traveling to service customer equipment
• Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation

Plusses:

• Power generation experience
• Electrical experience

Day-to-Day:

• Work as a traveling/mobile technician servicing and repairing equipment
• Join a team of 4 technicians
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues in the field
• Participate in a paid on-call rotation
• Approximately 1 out of every 3 weekends on call
• Handle occasional after-hours service calls
• Work approximately 45 hours per week with unlimited overtime opportunities
• Utilize a company-provided vehicle, phone, laptop, and select tools
• Participate in company-paid technical training

This individual will join a growing team and travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment in the field. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hands-on mechanical experience in areas such as automotive, heavy-duty equipment, truck and trailer repair, diesel engines, or mobile equipment.
