JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior leader responsible for trust accounting, payment operations, business resiliency, regulatory compliance, and governance oversight within a global money movement environment. This role partners closely with finance, technology, legal, compliance, and operations teams to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and risk management while leading a geographically dispersed team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-5+ years in Trust Accounting, fund accounting, or client funds management
-3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated responsibility for leading teams, functions, or operational initiatives.
-5+ years of experience within a regulated or risk-sensitive environment, such as payments, banking, trust accounting, or broader financial services.
-Strong experience with governance, compliance, audit management, and control frameworks, including SOX and SOC 1.
-Experience overseeing payment operations, client funds management, cash forecasting, reconciliations, and operational controls.
-Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive cross-functional initiatives, and deliver results without direct authority.
-Hands-on experience using an accounting platform or ERP system, such as SAP, Oracle, or a comparable platform.
-Experience working within a regulated environment, with knowledge of FINTRAC and RPAA requirements considered an asset.
-Strong executive communication, presentation, risk management, and decision-making skills.
-CPA license
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Salary rate: $120,000 - $147,000/yr (dependant on skillset, years of experience and qualifications)
