Client Solutions Executive
Location: Vancouver, BC (Remote) | Calgary, AB (Hybrid) | Edmonton, AB (Hybrid) | Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Salary: The base salary range for this position is typically $75,000 to $90,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.

About the Role
As a Client Solutions Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing and potential new commercial clients while identifying opportunities to expand Insight's presence within those organizations. Your success will be measured primarily by your ability to understand the technology challenges clients face across their IT and operational technology (OT) hardware and software environments, collaborate with Insight's pre-sales team to address those challenges, and develop and propose innovative solutions that deliver meaningful business outcomes. Success will also include retaining and deepening client relationships and uncovering new business opportunities across Insight's broad portfolio of technology solutions and services.
We will count on you to understand your clients' business priorities, build trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels, and collaborate with Insight's technical, services, sales, and partner teams to solve business challenges and create measurable client value.
What You Will Do
- Build long-term client relationships by engaging business and technology decision-makers across customer organizations, developing relationships high, wide, and deep.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies that increase revenue and profitability by expanding customer investment into new solution areas, services, business units, and lines of business.
- Demonstrate the ability to grow the value Insight brings to clients by identifying and pursuing opportunities outside established purchasing patterns and existing areas of business.
- Leverage AI tools and capabilities responsibly to improve preparation, productivity, customer insights, and the quality and relevance of client conversations.
- Connect client priorities to Insight solutions and services across cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, intelligent edge, managed services, and consulting.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, solution specialists, services and delivery teams, partner representatives, sales peers, and leadership to develop and deliver winning customer solutions.
- Maintain disciplined account planning, accurate forecasting, strong pipeline management, and timely opportunity updates.
- Demonstrate Insight’s values of Hunger, Heart, and Harmony through customer focus, accountability, curiosity, and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of successful technology solution sales or account management experience, with a documented track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and delivering profitable growth.
- Demonstrated success growing existing client relationships with IT/OT hardware and software solutions, while expanding into new solution areas, services, business units, or lines of business.
- Proven ability to identify client challenges, lead consultative business conversations, and align technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, develop customer insights, and drive higher-quality client conversations.
- Strong teamwork is essential, including a proven ability to collaborate in a team-selling environment across sales, technical, services, delivery, partner, and leadership teams.
- Strong business acumen and capability in account planning, financial analysis, negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling.
- Excellent communication, customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional training, certifications, or demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, account management, partner engagement, negotiation, or technology solutions are considered assets.
- University degree, college diploma, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and demonstrated success is preferred but not required.
