Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This position is 100% onsite in downtown Calgary. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.

Role Description

The ideal candidate will maintain vendor relationships for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The Business Analyst - Non-Technical usually reports to a project manager or director.

Responsibilities

• Support SCM systems and applications, including investigation and resolution of business process and system issues
• Support User Acceptance Testing, including development of test scenarios, coordination of testing, defect tracking, and validation of requirements
• Analyze business data and system information to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams on system enhancements and project activities

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources, or relevant field required.
• 2-4 years related experience required.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and business processes
• Experience supporting system testing, enhancements, and process improvements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business applications
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise business systems is an asset
• Exposure to SCM applications, Source-to-Pay processes, automation, or reporting tools such as Power BI is an asset
