Branch Manager - Steel Service Centre

Integral HR Solutions is partnering with Ferrell Builders’ Supply to place an experienced, hands-on Branch Manager to lead their busy steel fabrication and Builders’ Supply operation.

Based out of Hamilton, this is more than an operations role. We’re looking for a leader who can bring together people, customers, sales, and operational performance to drive the branch's continued success.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Branch Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for Sales, Operations and Administration, providing leadership to the team and ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, safety, quality and strong business results.

You’ll have the autonomy to make an impact, improve the operation and build a high-performing team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead, coach and develop employees across the branch
• Oversee steel fabrication, sales, operations and customer deliveries
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers
• Manage workflow, productivity, labour costs and operational priorities
• Forecast inventory requirements and make effective purchasing decisions
• Oversee inventory controls, invoicing, equipment and fleet requirements
• Resolve customer service and job-quality concerns
• Champion workplace health and safety
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and profitability

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for an experienced leader with:

• Management experience in steel, fabrication, Builders’ supply, manufacturing or a related industrial environment
• Strong sales and operations experience
• Proven people-leadership capabilities
• Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills
• Strong business judgment and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to understand shop drawings and house plans
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• A practical, hands-on and results-oriented leadership style
