Job Title Cybersecurity Solution Architect

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Calgary – Office Based / Customer Facing

About Us

Integrity360 is a leading independent cybersecurity specialist, helping organisations across Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and North America manage and reduce cyber risk.

With over 900 employees, including more than 600 dedicated cybersecurity professionals, Integrity360 delivers a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services spanning advisory and consulting, cyber risk and assurance, security testing, professional services, managed security, incident response and cyber recovery. We support more than 3,000 mid-market and enterprise organisations across sectors including financial services, insurance, government, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing and critical infrastructure.

At Integrity360, our people are central to our success. We invest heavily in learning, technical development and career progression, creating an environment where people are encouraged to challenge thinking, share knowledge and develop innovative solutions to real customer security challenges.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Solution Architect to join our Solution Architecture team in Calgary.

This is a senior customer-facing role, working closely with our Account Management, Professional Services, Managed Security Services, Product and specialist technical teams.

You will engage with customers ranging from security and technology teams through to CISOs, CIOs and other senior stakeholders, helping them understand their security challenges and translating those challenges into practical, commercially viable cybersecurity solutions.

The role goes beyond selecting technology. You will be expected to understand a customer's business objectives, security maturity, threat exposure, technology environment, and operating model, bringing these together to design solutions spanning technology, professional services and managed security services.

You will take technical ownership of opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial discovery and qualification through solution architecture, proposal development, and customer presentation, supporting a smooth transition into successful delivery.

Most importantly, you will become a trusted security advisor to our customers, helping them understand where to focus investment, improve security maturity and strengthen their overall cyber resilience.

Working Location

This is an office-based and customer-facing role. When not visiting customers at their locations, you will be expected to work primarily from our office in Calgary, collaborating closely with the wider Solution Architecture, Sales and technical teams.

We recognise the benefits of flexibility, and hybrid working arrangements may be considered over time. However, candidates should join with the expectation that regular office presence is an important part of the role, particularly during their initial period with Integrity360.

Due to the nature of the position, the role will involve travel to customer locations across Ireland and occasional international travel where required.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Discovery & Advisory

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers' business objectives, security challenges, existing architecture, security maturity and risk priorities.
  • Engage confidently with stakeholders ranging from security engineers and architects through to CISO, CIO and executive leadership.
  • Translate technical and business challenges into clear security requirements and pragmatic improvement plans.
  • Help customers prioritise security investment based on risk, business outcomes and existing capabilities.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships, constructively challenging customer thinking where appropriate rather than simply responding to stated technical requirements.

Solution Architecture

  • Architect cybersecurity solutions combining technology, professional services and managed security services.
  • Develop high-level architectures, solution designs, bills of materials, licensing models and professional services scopes.
  • Design solutions across new and existing customer environments, identifying opportunities to consolidate, optimise and improve security capabilities.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, operationally supportable and aligned with Integrity360's portfolio and delivery capabilities.
  • Work across multiple security technologies and vendors, selecting appropriate capabilities based on customer requirements rather than relying on a single technology stack.

Managed Security & Cyber Resilience

Design solutions incorporating a broad range of cybersecurity capabilities, including:

  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
  • SIEM, XDR and Security Operations
  • Endpoint Detection and Response
  • Incident Response and Cyber Resilience
  • Vulnerability and Exposure Management
  • Cloud Security
  • Identity Security
  • Network and Infrastructure Security
  • Email and Collaboration Security
  • Data Security
  • Security Testing and Assurance
  • Threat Intelligence and Digital Risk
  • Security Automation and Orchestration

You will be expected to understand how these technologies and capabilities fit into the customer's broader security architecture and operating model, rather than treating individual security products as standalone controls.

Proposals, Tenders & Complex Opportunities

  • Take technical ownership of cybersecurity opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Produce compelling customer-facing proposals that clearly articulate the proposed solution, security outcomes, value and improvements being delivered.
  • Support and lead technical responses to RFIs, RFPs and complex cybersecurity tenders.
  • Work alongside Account Managers to develop technically accurate and commercially appropriate solutions.
  • Present and defend proposed architectures and services to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Support effective technical qualification and identify solution, delivery and commercial risks early in the sales process.
  • Ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements while remaining deliverable and aligned with Integrity360's capabilities.

Collaboration & Service Development

  • Work closely with Professional Services and Managed Security Services teams to ensure an effective transition from pre-sales into implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Solution Architects and subject matter experts on complex or multi-domain opportunities.
  • Engage with strategic technology partners and vendors to understand technology developments, roadmaps and emerging capabilities.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management to help shape the evolution of Integrity360's cybersecurity services.
  • Contribute to the development of new solutions, propositions and managed services.
  • Actively share knowledge, experience and best practice across the Solution Architecture team and wider business.

Skills & Experience

We don't expect candidates to be experts in every area of cybersecurity.

We are looking for someone with strong security architecture fundamentals, broad cybersecurity knowledge, commercial awareness and the curiosity to continually develop their expertise.

Ideally, you will have experience across several of the following areas:

Security Operations

  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
  • SIEM and security analytics
  • XDR and Endpoint Detection and Response
  • SOAR and security automation
  • Threat intelligence
  • Incident response and cyber resilience

Microsoft Security

Experience with the Microsoft security ecosystem would be particularly valuable, including areas such as:

  • Microsoft Defender XDR
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Microsoft Purview

Network, Cloud & Infrastructure Security

  • Next-generation firewalls and network security
  • SASE / Security Service Edge (SSE)
  • Cloud security and CNAPP
  • Web application and API security
  • Email and collaboration security
  • Zero Trust architectures

Exposure, Risk & Assurance

  • Vulnerability and exposure management
  • Attack surface management
  • Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM)
  • Penetration testing and security assurance
  • Security posture and maturity assessments

Knowledge or experience in areas such as OT/ICS security, data security, AI security or digital risk protection would also be advantageous.

Security & Architecture Knowledge

You Should Have a Good Understanding Of

  • Modern cybersecurity threats, adversary behaviour and attack techniques
  • MITRE ATT&CK
  • Zero Trust principles
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • CIS Critical Security Controls
  • Cyber Essentials
  • Security architecture principles
  • Cloud and hybrid security architectures
  • The relationship between people, process and technology in building effective cybersecurity capabilities and security operations

You do not need to have worked with every technology or vendor within the Integrity360 portfolio.

The ability to understand customer requirements, learn new technologies quickly and apply sound architectural thinking is more important than expertise in a specific product.

About You

You'll be well suited to this role if you:

  • Have experience in cybersecurity solution architecture, pre-sales, security consulting or a similar customer-facing technical position.
  • Can lead a cybersecurity conversation rather than simply answer technical questions.
  • Are comfortable running discovery sessions and whiteboarding solutions collaboratively with customers.
  • Can translate complex technical subjects into clear business language for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Can engage credibly with security practitioners, architects, CISOs, CIOs and executive stakeholders.
  • Understand the commercial realities of designing and delivering cybersecurity solutions.
  • Can balance customer requirements with security best practice, operational feasibility and cost.
  • Are comfortable presenting, explaining and defending your recommendations.
  • Can produce clear, credible customer proposals and technical responses.
  • Have experience contributing to, or leading technical responses for, complex cybersecurity tenders and RFPs.
  • Take ownership of opportunities and follow them through from discovery and design to successful handover.
  • Are naturally curious and keep pace with changes in cybersecurity technology, threats and customer priorities.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge with others.

The Person We're Looking For

Technical capability is important, but this isn't simply a technology role. We're looking for someone who can sit with a customer, understand what problem they are trying to solve, what risk they are trying to reduce, what capabilities they already have and what good looks like for their organisation, then design a credible and commercially sensible way to get them there. You should be comfortable operating independently with customers while also knowing when to bring in specialists from across Integrity360.

Most importantly, we're looking for a team player. Our Solution Architecture team works closely together, shares expertise and supports one another on complex opportunities. We work hard, but maintaining the collaboration, camaraderie and culture of the team is equally important to us.

If you're looking for a role where you can work across a broad cybersecurity portfolio, influence customer security strategy and help shape solutions from initial conversation through to delivery, we'd like to hear from you.
