Job Description
Role Overview
When radiologists receive the right study at the right time, patients get answers faster. As a Senior Software Developer on our InteleOrchestrator team, you’ll build the intelligent, cloud-native solutions that make this possible, streamlining radiology workflows for healthcare providers around the world. You’ll own full-stack features from design through production on AWS, help shape the team’s technical direction, and raise the bar for quality and security in a regulated healthcare environment. Success in this role means reliable, scalable software that reduces clinical burden and gives time back to the clinicians who depend on it.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own scalable, high-performance cloud-native services and web frontends on AWS using microservices patterns, taking features from design through production support.
- Shape technical direction by contributing to system architecture decisions, evaluating new technologies, and helping define the InteleOrchestrator technical roadmap.
- Raise the bar for quality and reliability by building automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security best practices into every release.
- Partner with Product, UX, and Clinical teams to translate clinical and business needs into practical solutions that meet healthcare data standards (HL7, DICOM) and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop fellow developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous learning across the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years building and deploying full-stack web applications in production.
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and ECS/EKS.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Go, or equivalent languages, with a strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming.
- Expertise designing microservices with Spring Boot, or an equivalent framework, backed by solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Experience building web frontends with Angular or React.
- Experience delivering in agile teams using Gradle, Git, and modern DevOps practices across Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience working with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and DICOM, or building software in other regulated industries (e.g., FDA- or FAA-regulated environments).
- Experience with C# or .NET Core.
- Familiarity with jOOQ or similar database abstraction layers.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Datadog or New Relic.
