Description

Located out of our Calgary office, the Transportation Finance Student will be a member of the Transportation FP&A Team

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Support in generating various reports (such as Actuals vs. Budget and Forecast), analyze data and coordinate with other groups to identify trends and insights
• Assist other team members in responding to enquiries on existing reports /data and reconciliation of finance reports in a timely manner
• Assist with budget SAP input and validation
• Support in maintaining up to date documentation, tracking and communicating project status and prepare presentation materials for internal meetings
• Ad-Hoc tasks as needed

Education, Skills and Experience

• Post-secondary student who has successfully completed at least one year in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Manage expectations and prioritize work-based requirements
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform critical self-reviews, and
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Experience in a corporate office, considered an asset

Hours

Monday- Friday, 8 hours per day 8 month term –January 4, 2027- August 27, 2027
