Original job description
We are hiring for a relief full-time Physiotherapist for the inpatient rehab unit at the Kelowna General Hospital. This position typically has an enhanced focus on neuro caseload. This is a relief/temporary opportunity expected to run until September 25, 2026, or the return of the current incumbent.

About The Role
The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team.
