About this position: East Kootenay Primary Care Network

The Cranbrook Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is a community‑based clinic providing same‑day, non‑emergency care for patients who need timely access to primary health services within 12–24 hours. Care is delivered through a collaborative, interprofessional team, supporting patients who may not have a regular primary care provider.

As a Physiotherapist at the Cranbrook UPCC, you are an integral part of this team based approach, helping patients manage acute and sub acute musculoskeletal conditions, mobility concerns, functional limitations, and pain related to injury or illness. Your work supports patients presenting with concerns such as sprains, strains, minor injuries, and movement related issues, helping to reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and improve access to timely care.

In this role, you collaborate closely with primary care providers and allied health colleagues to complete assessments, provide targeted interventions, and support self management and recovery. Physiotherapy services at the UPCC focus on improving function, promoting safe movement, and supporting patients across the lifespan within a fast paced, patient centred environment.

About this location:

Nestled in the heart of the Kootenay region, Cranbrook is a vibrant city offering a perfect balance of urban amenities and outdoor adventure. With the stunning Rocky Mountains as its backdrop, the area is a haven for hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and fishing. Cranbrook is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, including the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel and local art galleries. Its lively community spirit and access to nearby resorts like Kimberley make Cranbrook an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.
