Strategy3 Canada is looking for a smart, curious and ambitious Associate Consultant to join our growing team.

This is an early-career consulting role for someone who loves learning, solving problems and figuring out what things mean - not simply reporting what the data says.

You'll work alongside experienced consultants on real client challenges from day one. You'll gather evidence, analyze information, spot patterns, build compelling stories and help turn research and insight into strategic recommendations. You won't be expected to arrive knowing everything. You will be expected to be curious, thoughtful, reliable, resourceful and eager to learn.

No two weeks - or two projects - will look quite the same.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Consultant, you'll contribute across the full consulting process - from understanding the problem and gathering evidence through analysis, strategic thinking and development of client recommendations - while helping manage the day-to-day work required to deliver engagements successfully.

You'll

Conduct secondary research across industries, markets, consumers, competitors, culture and emerging trends.
Gather and synthesize quantitative, qualitative, behavioural, competitive and secondary evidence to help answer client business questions.
Analyze survey results, interviews and other research to identify meaningful patterns, opportunities and implications.
Support hypothesis development and help distinguish an interesting finding from a strategically important insight.
Connect evidence across multiple sources and help translate “What did we learn?” into “So what?” and “What should the client do about it?”
Develop clear, concise and visually compelling presentations that connect evidence, insight, strategy and action.
Participate in client meetings, workshops and working sessions, and support the preparation of client deliverables.
Work collaboratively with Strategy3 colleagues, Ipsos researchers and subject-matter experts across disciplines and markets.
Support the day-to-day management of client engagements, helping develop and maintain project plans, track milestones and deliverables, coordinate inputs across team members, and proactively flag risks or dependencies.
Manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously, ensuring commitments are met and work progresses against fast-moving project timelines.
Contribute to proposals, pitches, thought leadership and other initiatives that help build the Strategy3 practice.

What You Bring

We're less interested in one “right” background than we are in finding someone with the intellectual curiosity, analytical ability and drive to become an exceptional consultant.

We're Looking For

A bachelor's degree with demonstrated academic achievement. Relevant fields may include business, economics, marketing, psychology, social sciences, communications or related disciplines.
0–2 years of professional experience; exceptional new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Relevant internships, co-op placements, academic projects or early-career experience in consulting, strategy, research, insights, marketing or innovation are considered assets.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify patterns and draw meaningful implications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure ideas clearly and build a persuasive argument.
Strong business acumen and genuine curiosity about businesses, brands, consumers, markets and what's changing in the world.
A natural ability to synthesize large amounts of information, connect disparate ideas and turn complexity into a clear, compelling story.
Strong project management and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across team members and keep work moving against tight deadlines.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including demonstrated ability to build polished, client-ready presentations and analyze and organize data effectively.
Comfort with ambiguity, a willingness to ask questions and the initiative to move work forward without having every step prescribed.
A collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different disciplines and levels of seniority.
Openness to feedback, a desire to learn and the ability to apply what you've learned quickly.

The Associate Consultant role is the entry point into the Strategy3 consulting career. The emphasis is on building strong consulting fundamentals and learning how evidence becomes strategy.

In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law, the estimated base salary range for this role is is $60,000 to $65,000 CAD. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
