What makes this role important at Ipsos?

As a Senior Account Manager in our qualitative division IUU, you’ll be at the heart of delivering high-quality qualitative research amongst a team of over 20 qualitative research specialists. You’ll turn research designs into well-run studies, manage the details that keep projects on track, moderate with confidence, and provide clients with a reliable day-to-day point of contact. This role is suited to someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and understands the foundations of excellent qualitative research. You’re comfortable managing multiple moving parts and know what needs to happen next to keep clients, teams, and projects moving forward.

What you can expect to be doing:

Develops and delivers high-quality proposals, research and insights to leading Canadian clients across a variety of sectors
Collaborating with different quantitative divisions across Ipsos on client research needs
Manage multiple research projects at different phases from proposal to insights delivery. Responsible for the client service aspect of the project, coordinating with your fellow researchers to ensure that the clients’ needs are met.
With manager support, work to develop existing clients and new business streams.
May act as manager to one or more Account Managers/Research Analysts. Includes overseeing training schedule, day-to-day guidance and supervision, and providing feedback (both ongoing and during annual review and goal setting).

This might be the job for you if you have:

“Hit the ground running” 3-5 years qualitative market research experience, with strong knowledge of the foundational elements of qualitative research, including study set-up, project management, recruitment screeners, discussion guide development, and first-draft reporting writing.
Experience executing a range of in-person and digital qualitative methodologies.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and competing client needs with organization, diplomacy and attention to detail.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to anticipate next steps, solve problems and work independently with personal accountability.
Strong client service skills and experience serving as a day-to-day client contact.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including qualitative analysis, storytelling and presentation development.
A collaborative working style and the ability to contribute effectively within a project team.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
A bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a focus on research.
Must be comfortable with, and proficient at, deploying AI and LLM tools within the Ipsos corporate environment
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 CAD. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
