This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced collections leader who combines strong financial acumen with people management, process improvement, and technology implementation experience.

If you're a strategic thinker who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex financial matters, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

Examples of what you'll be responsible for:

  • Manage sensitive and complex collection matters, including relationships with external collection agencies, to achieve timely and effective resolutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, senior professionals, and internal stakeholders to address outstanding accounts and resolve payment challenges.
  • Lead major technology and client onboarding initiatives, from gathering business requirements and coordinating system testing to documenting processes and supporting implementation.
  • Review existing collections practices and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, accuracy, and the overall client experience.
  • Drive change management efforts, develop training resources, and help ensure teams follow established procedures and use systems effectively.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the Collections team, balancing workloads and priorities to support timely follow-up and strong receivables performance.
  • Partner with regional Finance teams to share best practices and promote consistent collections procedures across multiple offices.
  • Coach and mentor team members, supporting their professional development, engagement, and overall performance.
  • Provide financial and operational support to the Director of Finance and Administration on special projects and other priorities as required.

What we're looking for:

  • Post secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in collections operations, accounts receivable, or related function within a professional services environment.
  • Previous leadership experience is required.
  • Experience leading technology implementations, systems enhancements, or process improvement initiatives is preferred.

What we offer:

  • $110,000-130,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Hybrid work from home schedule.
  • Employer contributed retirement fund.
  • Wellness and other allowances.
  • Bonus and annual salary review.
  • and MORE!

Please note, this is for an existing vacancy.

If you meet the requirements, please apply in confidence! All successful applicants will receive an email inviting them to set up a time for an exploratory call from a recruitment consultant email address ending in @iqpartners.com.
