Original job description

IQ PARTNERS is searching for a Project Coordinator to help help shape how a leading law firm embraces emerging legal technologies, while supporting other strategic initiatives that influence how legal services are delivered.

This is an ideal opportunity for a techy person who is looking to build a career in project coordination and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep projects moving, connecting with different stakeholders, and turning new ideas into practical solutions.

Examples of what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Keep projects on track by coordinating schedules, monitoring milestones, and updating progress reports across multiple initiatives.
  • Build relationships with technology providers, coordinating discussions, monitoring commitments, and ensuring next steps are addressed.
  • Help introduce new digital tools by organizing training, supporting internal communications, and monitoring how effectively new solutions are being adopted.
  • Organize project records, meeting summaries, and tracking documents to ensure information is accessible and everyone stays aligned.
  • Arrange demonstrations, testing sessions, and pilot initiatives that give lawyers and staff opportunities to explore new technologies.
  • Support financial and administrative oversight by tracking project expenses and helping manage vendor agreements and renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation team to coordinate initiatives, address challenges, and support the successful implementation of new ideas.

Examples of what they offer:

  • Hybrid work from home schedule
  • Comprehensive benefits coverage from day 1
  • Pension
  • Wellness reimbursement
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Performance bonus
  • Staff appreciation events
  • And more!

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related role.
  • A university degree in business, technology, information systems, project management, or a comparable discipline.
  • Previous exposure to a law firm, professional services organization, or other client-focused environment is an asset.
  • Previous experience with legal technology and/or new system implementation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple assignments while keeping deadlines and details in check.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to pick up new systems quickly, remain flexible as priorities evolve, and contribute both independently and as part of a team.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for emerging technology and its potential to improve how legal professionals work.

If you meet the requirements, please apply in confidence! All successful applicants will receive an email inviting them to set up a time for an exploratory call from a recruitment consultant email address ending in @iqpartners.com. Please note, no IQ PARTNERS employee would ever contact you from an unofficial domain (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.).
