Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a AWS Data Engineer (CDK) for a long term opportunity at Remote.

Position: AWS Data Engineer (CDK)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+Months

Key Responsibilities
- Lead AWS DataOps Platform initiatives and onboarding of multiple business use cases.
- Own client communication, technical delivery, offshore coordination, and issue resolution.
- Drive reusable data pipelines, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and platform scalability.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Modelers, Architects, and AI/ML teams.
- Ensure data security, governance, reliability, and cost optimization.
Required Skills
- Strong AWS expertise (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, EKS, Redshift).
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK/Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of DataOps, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and MLOps.
- Proven technical leadership, stakeholder management, and distributed team coordination
