Position: Data Engineer Tech Lead
Toronto: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid, 3 days onsite in a week)
Insurance domain is mandatory
Must have skills5-8 years SQL & Python; cloud data platform experience (Snowflake highly preferred)
- ETL/ELT pipeline development at enterprise scale
- Experience with Stored procedures, task, dbt
- Data warehouse design, data modelling, workflow orchestration (Airflow or equivalent)
Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Clear communicator; effective cross-functional collaborator, must work effectively with Data Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders across a large program

Responsibilities
Lead the development of enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and work with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake. Support data warehouse design, data modeling, stored procedures, tasks, dbt, and workflow orchestration.
Requirements
Requires 5–8 years of experience with SQL and Python, cloud data platforms, and enterprise-scale ETL/ELT development; insurance domain experience is mandatory. Candidates should have experience with data warehousing and orchestration tools such as Airflow, along with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
