Position: Java Tech Lead
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 3 days onsite in a week)
Required Qualifications
- 15 years+ Experience hands on coding experience
- Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience.
- Strong experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
- Demonstrated ability to design, code, review, troubleshoot, and support complex applications.
- Proven end-to-end ownership across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through production support.
- Strong knowledge of API design, security, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Git, monitoring, observability, and production engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of databases, performance, resiliency, error handling, and application troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated technical leadership with the ability to mentor engineers and drive technical decisions while remaining hands-on.
