Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire a Node.JS Developer Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products.

Title: Node.JS Developer

Location: Halifax, NS (Hybrid)

Duration: 24 Months

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB.
  • Solid understanding of NoSQL database concepts, document-oriented data models, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or equivalent.
  • Experience building applications that process large volumes of data.
  • Experience with document processing, document ingestion, transformation, extraction, storage, or similar workflows.
  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Develop backend applications using Node.js and build REST APIs. Create and support workflows for processing, ingesting, transforming, extracting, and storing documents and large volumes of data.

Requirements

Requires strong hands-on backend development experience with Node.js, proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and strong experience with MongoDB and SQL databases. Candidates should understand NoSQL data models, indexing, and query optimization, and have experience building REST APIs and applications that process large volumes of data.
