Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Data Project Manager for a long-term contract to hire opportunity based in Toronto, ON(Hybrid)

Position: Data Project Manager
Location: Toronto (Hybrid – 3 Days onsite/week)
Duration: T4 Contract Fulltime role

Must-have skills
- An experienced Project Manager with strong banking domain knowledge and experience in Project managing Data, Business Intelligence (BI), and Reporting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Data / BI projects within a banking environment.
- Coordinate across business, technology, data engineering, analytics, and vendor teams.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance.
- Drive requirements, planning, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Support delivery of data platforms, dashboards, reporting, data migration, or analytics initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to banking technology, data governance, risk, and compliance standards.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience, including strong Project Management experience.
- Proven experience working within Banking / Financial Services.
- Experience managing Data, BI, Reporting, Data Warehouse, or Analytics projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data warehouses/lakes, or cloud data platforms is preferred
