Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for a UI Developer in Toronto, ON. Please find the job description below:

Job Title: UI Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 4 days a week in the office)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Domain: Banking/Financial

10+ years of software development experience, including hands-on Angular development.

• Experience with NgRx, RxJS, TypeScript and responsive web development.
• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular (v10+).
• Build reusable UI components and implement modern front-end architecture patterns.
• Utilize NgRx for state management and RxJS for reactive programming.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js, REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
