We need someone to own where our product's design goes next: apps, platforms, surfaces, flows, screens, UI/UX, and the design system underneath it all.

The ideal candidate has built consumer mobile products that people use heavily every day. We want someone used to environments where design decisions have to hold up across millions of live sessions, not just look good in a portfolio. You work at two levels: shaping the story of a user flow, and sweating the four pixels that make a button feel right. You'll build this collaboratively, in person with our team in Montreal.

What You Will Do

Product design. Own the iOS app end to end, from first open through the hundredth session.
Design system. Own the foundation (colour, type, spacing and components) so engineering, product and marketing can build from it directly.
Ship with engineering. Sit next to the people building your work, spec clearly, review builds and hold the line on the details that matter.
Brand visual system. Own our visual identity at the system level. Work closely with brand, marketing, growth and product so every surface, not just the app, tells one story.
Leadership reviews. Regularly present and defend your design decisions to leadership, work with the feedback and come back with something better.

Who You Are

You've shipped consumer mobile products with real usage, and you can walk us through the decisions, not just the screens.
You've built a design system or owned a big part of one, including the rules and documentation behind it.
You hold strong opinions for good reasons, and you can defend them when the team gives you direct feedback or pushes back.
You use AI in your process and still treat craft and taste as non-negotiable.
You'd rather stay hands-on and ship the work yourself.
You'd rather build and manage a design team than do the work yourself.
You'd rather avoid direct critique than take it and get better.

On cherche quelqu'un pour prendre en main la suite du design de notre produit : applications, plateformes, interfaces, parcours, écrans, UI/UX, et le système de design sur lequel tout ça repose.

Idéalement, tu as déjà conçu des produits mobiles grand public utilisés intensivement au quotidien. On cherche quelqu'un d'habitué à des environnements où une décision de design doit tenir le coup face à des millions de sessions réelles, pas seulement bien paraître dans un portfolio. Tu travailles à deux niveaux : tu bâtis le récit d'un parcours utilisateur, et tu peaufines les quatre pixels qui font qu'un bouton se sent juste. Tu construiras tout ça en collaboration, en personne, avec notre équipe à Montréal.

Vos responsabilités

Design produit. Prendre en charge l'application iOS de A à Z, de la première ouverture jusqu'à la centième session.
Système de design. Être responsable des fondations (couleurs, typographie, espacements, composants) pour que l'ingénierie, le produit et le marketing puissent s'en servir directement.
Livrer avec l'ingénierie. Travailler aux côtés des personnes qui développent tes designs, spécifier clairement, réviser les versions et tenir ton bout sur les détails qui comptent.
Identité visuelle de la marque. Être responsable de notre identité visuelle à l'échelle du système, en étroite collaboration avec les équipes marque, marketing, croissance et produit, pour que chaque interface, pas seulement l'application, raconte la même histoire.
Revues avec la direction. Présenter et défendre régulièrement tes décisions de design devant la direction, intégrer la rétroaction et revenir avec quelque chose de mieux.

Votre mission

Tu as lancé des produits mobiles grand public réellement utilisés, et tu peux nous expliquer les décisions derrière, pas seulement les écrans.
Tu as bâti un système de design, ou tu en as été largement responsable, y compris les règles et la documentation.
Tu as des opinions fortes et bien justifiées, et tu sais les défendre face à une rétroaction directe de l'équipe, surtout quand elles sont remises en question.
Tu utilises l'IA dans ton processus, sans jamais faire de compromis sur la qualité d'exécution et le goût.
Tu préfères rester dans l'action et livrer le travail toi-même.
