Original job description

As a Centralized Account Management Representative, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio and driving sales growth within our commercial customer network. Your goal will be to ensure that volume and general management for the accounts is on target and to assist in developing strategies to improve gross margins, volume growth and increase product penetration in their assigned territory. Your success will be evident in your capability to acquire new business opportunities within the existing portfolio and on your ability to build relationships with our newer customers while maintaining our existing relationships while providing a focus on territory development, portfolio management, customer relationship management and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop an understanding of an assigned territory that includes opportunities for growth, product penetration, competitors and alternative fuels and develop territory objectives to drive achievement of portfolio management goals and targets
Work collaboratively with sales leadership to execute marketing programs that drive achievement of sales targets and drive portfolio performance by developing strategies to improve gross margins, increase volumes, minimize customer attrition, and increase product penetration
Implement tactics to improve gross margin and volume and work collaboratively with sales management to prioritize high-value accounts and develop tactics to foster loyalty and increase customer retention
Proactively contact high-value customers to understand evolving product needs and build deeper relationships with decision makers and influencers and be able to identify and drive new opportunities to successful closure to increase share of wallet
Facilitate the expedient resolution of issues and pricing concerns and conduct annual customer relationship reviews with high-value accounts
Review of current commercial reporting suite and report out (monthly volume variance reporting, inactive forecasting report, fixed pricing reports, zero purchasers, early detection, near miss, GM Reports, portfolio reports, scorecard review by portfolio)
Prepare and report sales performance to sales leadership and participate in sales management meetings

Your Skills:

Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
Detail oriented; willing to chase discrepancies to the root

Your Experience:

Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or equivalent experience
3-5 years equivalent experience in customer service and sales
Experience in the petroleum industry considered an asset
Experience in Salesforce application considered an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $47,840 -$59,800. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
