Liaise with customer and internal teams to verify satisfaction and secure sign off for project milestones and final acceptance.
Evaluate specifications and 1379’s to identify and incorporate necessary hold points into the production process.
Verify activities progressed as complete by production in the 98% report.
Perform routine shipboard inspections to ensure all areas are free from potential hazards, water ingress and housekeeping standards are consistently upheld.
Prepare NCRs and CARs to address any deviation from quality standards.
Complete all documentation required for turnover to the customer in alignment with the ITP.

Qualifications

Red Seal trade certification, in associated trade (welding, pipe fitting, electrical, electronics, machining, mechanical) or equivalent experience.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience required.

Previous experience or training in combat systems onboard a naval vessel considered an asset.

Inspection experience in a shipbuilding setting considered an asset
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and SharePoint required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
