Our CNB Woodlands team is looking for a Silviculture Assistant (Summer Student) to join us for Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on forestry experience while working alongside experienced professionals and supporting silviculture activities across Central New Brunswick.

Our CNB Woodlands team is looking for a Silviculture Assistant (Summer Student) to join us for Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on forestry experience while working alongside experienced professionals and supporting silviculture activities across Central New Brunswick.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring silviculture contractors and operators are following safety and quality standards
- Monitoring the implementation of various silviculture treatments (planting, plantation cleaning, vegetation management)
- Assisting with operational planning and reporting
- Currently enrolled in a Forestry, Forest Technology or related post-secondary program
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver's license or ability to obtain one prior to employment

Requirements
