Original job description

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented Recruitment Specialist to join the IS2 Workforce Solutions team in Delta, BC. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes ownership of your results - this is your opportunity to grow your career with a respected Canadian staffing leader.

This role is ideal for a go-getter who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, hit targets, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

Pay Range: Competitive salary (based on experience)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for check-ins)

Location: Delta, BC (travel required for client visits)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Source, attract, and recruit top talent using various methods and tools
Conduct pre-screens, interviews, and candidate assessments
Manage full-cycle recruitment, from intake to placement and onboarding
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Coordinate and conduct employee orientations, check-ins, and ongoing support
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all requirements
Communicate regularly with clients to understand hiring needs and provide updates
Participate in client site visits and tours to better support recruitment efforts
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, to support hiring initiatives
Handle employee relations, including assignment follow-ups and issue resolution

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO QUALIFY:

Post-secondary education required
Proven experience as a recruiter (light industrial experience is a strong asset)
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate evaluation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal English)
Customer service/recruitment experience (minimum 1 year)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet navigation)
Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
Must have access to a reliable vehicle for client visits and check-ins
