Location: Vaughan, ON
5 days onsite
Role status - Current Opening
Duration: 6 months
Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting in a large, multi-entity organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end and quarter-end close.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
- Complete intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and handle lease accounting.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Assist with accounting process improvements.
- Strong hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany, fixed assets and leases.
- Proficiency with a large ERP system and Excel.
- CPA designation or progress toward completion is an asset.
- Availability for a 6-month contract, working onsite in Vaughan 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
