We're working with a client in Toronto seeking an experienced Lead Business System Analyst with strong Capital Markets experience.
Key Responsibilities:

We're working with a client in Toronto seeking an experienced Lead Business System Analyst with strong Capital Markets experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements; define functional specifications with stakeholders
- Analyse legacy codebases (C#, PowerShell, batch scripts, Python, quant libraries, R) to uncover business rules and decision logic, data transformations and workflows, and integration patterns and dependencies
- Decompose technical implementations into functional processes, business capabilities, and user/system interactions
Required Experience:
- 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst
- Ability to read and reason about code (C#, Python, PowerShell, R / quant libraries) to extract logic and data flows
- Strong documentation and communication skills; Agile familiarity
- Experience using AI to analyse code and create specifications
- Mandatory Asset Management experience
