Engineering Change Management Specialist
Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year

SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an Engineering Change Management Specialist to manage engineering changes within a regulated nuclear environment. This role will oversee the full change lifecycle, from scope definition and classification through execution, commissioning and closeout, while ensuring configuration management, design-basis integrity and regulatory requirements are maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Engineering Changes through the full lifecycle using Maximo.
- Classify and process engineering changes in accordance with established procedures and governance requirements.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, verification activities and configuration management.
- Prepare and maintain engineering change documentation, including requirements traceability and design outputs.
- Track and resolve technical and stakeholder issues throughout the change process.
- Support field execution, commissioning, validation and turnover activities.
- Manage revisions, cancellations, replication and closeout of Engineering Changes.
- Ensure engineering changes remain compliant with quality, configuration management and regulatory requirements.
- Work with Engineering, Design Authority, Project Management and other stakeholders to ensure changes are properly documented and implemented.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Change Control within a nuclear or similarly regulated environment.
- Experience supporting engineering modifications, upgrades or refurbishment projects within a nuclear power plant environment
- Experience in I&C or Electrical engineering is preferred, with exposure to plant modifications and engineering change processes
- Hands-on experience using Maximo for engineering change management.
- Experience preparing engineering design and test documentation.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and engineering change processes.
- Experience with requirements traceability, change documentation and design deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
ASSETS
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or actively pursuing.
- Nuclear power plant experience.
- Experience with commissioning and installation activities.
- Experience developing Change Papers and engineering change documentation.
- Familiarity with stakeholder roles within a nuclear engineering change process.
- Experience with Bills of Material, software requirements, instrumentation documentation or related engineering deliverables.
