Seeking an experienced Software Developer - ETL / Power BI to support enterprise data integration, ETL processes, and business intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, optimize data pipelines, and deliver actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
* Build and optimize ETL processes and data transformations.
* Integrate data from SQL databases, Azure, Databricks, and cloud platforms.
* Connect Power BI to Databricks SQL Warehouses and Lakehouse data sources.
* Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
* Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards.
* Translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
* Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Mandatory Requirements
* Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI data modelling.
* Strong SQL experience and knowledge of relational databases.
* Experience with Databricks, including connecting Power BI to Databricks SQL Warehouses and Lakehouse data sources.
* Familiarity with Azure Data Platform services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and BI best practices.
* Experience working with large datasets and complex data transformations.
* Strong experience with Azure and ETL processes.
* Must be available to work on-site 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ideally, candidates will have previous Government / Public Sector experience.
