IT Connex is recruiting a DevOps Solutions Architect for an established manufacturing company (Client). Join the IT Enterprise Applications team and bring together DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, cloud architecture, and AI operations to support enterprise applications.

What You Will Do

  • Design scalable, secure application infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Automate configuration, deployments, and operational processes.
  • Improve production reliability through monitoring, incident response, performance optimization, and recovery planning.
  • Implement application security and identity controls using Cloudflare and enterprise IAM technologies.
  • Contribute to architecture roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and technical documentation.
  • Support generative AI applications through observability, cost controls, security guardrails, and sensitive data protection.
  • Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and senior technology leaders.

What You Bring

  • Proven engineering and software architecture experience, with strong practical DevOps and SRE skills.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking, security, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or comparable orchestration tools, and configuration automation such as Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and GitHub.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server, networking, monitoring, logging, and IAM.
  • Foundational understanding of generative AI, LLMs, and AI security.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Good to Have

  • Experience supporting technology in warehouse, manufacturing, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.
  • Exposure to Cloudflare WAF, Reverse Proxy, and Tunnel.
  • Familiarity with Okta, Active Directory, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Progress Technology, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
  • Basic familiarity with vector databases or semantic caching.
