What you'll do

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and recommend bakery products.

• Package, portion, and wrap a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.

• Keep bakery displays, bread walls, and shelves fully stocked and presentable.

• Process customer calls and bakery orders accurately and efficiently.

• Assist bakers with product preparation and coordinate with the Café team to maintain product availability.

• Monitor product quality, identify expired or damaged goods, and follow food safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery environment.

• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

• Share ideas and observations about customer preferences, new products, and market trends.  

What we're looking for

• At least one year of customer service experience.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.

• A positive attitude, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping customers.

• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional approach in challenging situations. 

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Open availability, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and general holidays.

• Shifts vary between 8:00 a.m. and 9:15 p.m.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

• Comfortable with extended periods of standing and walking, frequent bending and twisting, and occasional pushing or pulling of heavy carts.

• Ability to work in coolers and freezers for short periods.
