Position: AEM Architect – AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) Migration
Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite Only)
Experience Level: 5-7+ Years
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and target-state cloud-native architecture for migrating legacy AEM platforms to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Conduct migration readiness assessments across applications, content, assets, integrations, deployment, security, and operations.
- Utilize and interpret Adobe migration tools including Cloud Acceleration Manager (CAM), Best Practices Analyzer (BPA), Content Transfer Tool (CTT), and Cloud Manager.
- Convert assessment findings into a structured migration backlog, remediation plan, release criteria, and governance model.
- Provide architectural and technical leadership across code refactoring, content migration, integrations, DevOps, performance tuning, and security.
- Enforce Adobe best practices and ensure readiness for Cloud Manager delivery pipelines and quality gates.
- Collaborate with client leadership, Adobe engineering teams, delivery squads, QA, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 to 7+ years of dedicated AEM architecture and enterprise CMS modernization experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading AEM migrations, upgrades, or modernizations to AEMaaCS.
- Hands-on expertise with Adobe Cloud Manager, deployment pipelines, quality gates, and release governance.
- Hands-on familiarity with Adobe migration tools (CAM, BPA, CTT).
- Active Adobe AEM Certification (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - AEM Architect).
- Excellent stakeholder management, technical communication, and consulting skills.
- Must be available to work onsite in Calgary, AB.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud solutions (Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch/Tags, Dynamic Media, Adobe I/O, Workfront).
- Experience with headless or hybrid AEM architecture models.
- Experience defining post-migration operational models and stabilization approaches.
