iWorld Professionals is seeking a Senior Help Desk Specialist for our client a growing Energy Company serving the US and Canada marketplace. Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver looking for a rewarding career opportunity for a growing energy company? Senior Help Desk Representative Overview: As a Senior Help Desk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT systems and providing exceptional support to our internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and delivering timely and effective solutions to enhance productivity across the company.

Senior Help Desk Representative Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact for IT-related inquiries, providing prompt and courteous assistance to end-users.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate IT personnel when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications to optimize performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT initiatives, upgrades, and enhancements in alignment with business objectives.
Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency in support services.

Senior Help Desk Representative Qualifications:

Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with a strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to resolving issues.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer support / helpdesk role.
Ability to work onsite in Calgary Alberta Canada.
