Original job description

The Media Coordinator plays an important role in bringing KENT's marketing campaigns to life across Atlantic Canada. Working closely with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external media partners, you'll help plan, coordinate, and execute advertising campaigns across digital, social, radio, television, print, and out-of-home channels.

This is an opportunity to build expertise in media, marketing, content development, and campaign execution while contributing to high-profile initiatives that reach customers across the region. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of marketing disciplines, develop valuable cross-functional relationships, and play a key role in helping KENT connect with customers in meaningful ways.

The Salary Range is $48000 - $70000.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate the collection, organization, and delivery of campaign briefs, creative assets, approvals, and other materials required for campaign launches.

· Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external media partners to ensure campaigns are executed effectively.

· Manage campaign timelines and help drive projects forward by proactively identifying risks, following up on all deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.

· Develop engaging, customer-focused content for radio advertising, social media, blogs, and promotional events, including key messaging and speaking points for radio remotes and community appearances.

· Complete and manage media trafficking documents, insertion orders, media purchase authorizations (MPAs), and other campaign-related documentation.

· Coordinate media placements and creative delivery requirements to ensure materials meet partner specifications and launch on time.

· Organize and maintain campaign files, creative assets, schedules, and performance documentation.

· Assist with campaign reporting, results analysis and post-campaign reconciliations to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement

· Monitor marketing and media trends, bringing forward ideas and opportunities that help strengthen KENT’s marketing efforts.

Qualifications

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2-4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, media, project coordination, or a related role.

· Experience in digital marketing, media planning, advertising, or campaign management is considered an asset.

· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience working with project management, media planning, or workflow management tools is considered an asset.
