Original job description
Seeking an Automation Lead with 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration, automation, and support within enterprise on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support multi-domain/multi-forest Active Directory environments.
Administer and troubleshoot AD replication, DNS, SYSVOL, trusts, and Group Policies.
Support Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS/PKI), including certificate lifecycle management.
Monitor AD health, performance, and availability.
Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and system health checks.
Support incident resolution, upgrades, audits, compliance activities, and documentation.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams on authentication and directory services.
Required Skills
7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Active Directory administration.
Strong expertise in AD domains, forests, trusts, FSMO roles, Kerberos, KDCs, DNS, Sites & Services, and replication.
Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 and newer.
Advanced Group Policy (GPO) management and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of OU design, permissions, delegation, security groups, and schema management.
Hands-on experience with AD CS/PKI, including CA hierarchy design, certificate templates, issuance, renewal, and revocation.
Experience with DFS/DFSR and SYSVOL troubleshooting.
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
