  • Define security architecture roadmaps, transition architectures, solution architectures, and related documentation.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of security architecture strategies aligned with business and security objectives.
  • Design and implement secure architectures across enterprise systems and applications.
  • Assess application security and determine appropriate security controls.
  • Continuously assess and improve security processes, procedures, infrastructure, and controls.
  • Establish and maintain security architecture lifecycle methodologies, standards, principles, roles, processes, and deliverables.
  • Act as a trusted security advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Build consensus, resolve architecture conflicts, and drive optimal security solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions across technical infrastructure, applications, business, and information environments.

Core Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a Security Architect.
  • Strong experience in information security and cybersecurity strategy, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Deep technical and operational knowledge across security disciplines, including:
    • Access Management / IAM
    • Cloud Security
    • Cybersecurity Risk Management
    • Security Architecture
    • Security Controls
  • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF.
  • Experience with leading security technologies and enterprise security solutions.
  • Experience providing strategic security guidance within large or complex organizations.
  • Experience with Palo Alto SASE is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • CCSP / Certified Cloud Security Professional
  • SABSA Security Architecture
  • Other recognized Information Security certifications
