British Columbia. As an
Intermediate Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects and program workstreams while ensuring alignment with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
In this role you will
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects and project packages
- Coordinating activities across technical, commercial, project controls, construction, and stakeholder teams
- Maintaining project action logs, risk registers, decision logs, and other project management tools
- Tracking project commitments, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up actions to support successful project execution
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, and project reviews, including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and action items
- Supporting project reporting activities, including status reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefing materials
- Monitoring project risks and issues and supporting the development and implementation of mitigation strategies
- Facilitating communication and coordination between consultants, contractors, clients, and project team members
- Supporting governance and decision-making processes by gathering information and preparing recommendations for project leadership
- Escalating emerging issues, risks, and decisions to the Senior Project Manager as appropriate
- Assisting with contract administration, change management, and project controls activities as required
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting the delivery of infrastructure, transportation, transit, municipal, or other major capital projects
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholder groups
- Understanding of project management principles, project controls, scheduling, risk management, and project reporting processes
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment
Ideally, you'll also have
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or other relevant professional certification
- PMP certification
- Experience working in an owner's representative, program management, consulting, or infrastructure delivery environment
- Experience supporting public sector transportation and infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or Alliance delivery

Posted Salary Range Upper
250,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 to $250,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
