At Jacobs, we're helping our clients deliver some of the most significant transportation infrastructure investments in
British Columbia. As a
Senior Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects and program workstreams while ensuring alignment with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
In this role you will
- Lead the multidisciplinary technical coordination for assigned works
- Lead the review of technical submissions
- Managers Engineering interfaces
- Supports constructability and change reviews
- Leads the resolution of technical issues
- Leads the development and communication of recommendations to the Owners project and construction leadership
- Be expected to attend in person, the Clients office and construction site on a full time basis
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience delivering major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex transportation, transit, highway, bridge, rail, or infrastructure projects
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or other relevant professional certification
- PMP certification
- Experience working in an owner's representative, program management, consulting, or infrastructure delivery environment
- Experience supporting public sector transportation and infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or Alliance delivery.

Posted Salary Range Upper
240,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 to $240,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
