Our client, a profitable and fast-growing software company that acquires and operates a growing group of software businesses, is hiring their first in-house corporate accountant to take HQ accounting over from an outsourced provider and build the function from the ground up
What you’ll own
- Month-end and quarter-end close across Canadian and U.S. head office entities
- Intercompany, FX, and support for group consolidation
- Payroll accounting and AP oversight
- Audit support and an ongoing IFRS conversion
What we’re looking for
- CPA designation (required)
- 4–6+ years of experience, with hands-on multi-entity close ownership
- IFRS and consolidation experience
- NetSuite and SaaS experience are big pluses
We also have a Portfolio Accounting Manager role - apply if you want to explore this - must have CPA designation and experience owning/managing 8-10 multi-entities. Audit experience is also a huge bonus.

Responsibilities
Own month-end and quarter-end close for Canadian and U.S. head office entities, including intercompany accounting, foreign exchange, and support for group consolidation. Oversee payroll accounting and accounts payable, support audits, and lead the ongoing IFRS conversion while building the in-house accounting function.
Requirements
A CPA designation is required, along with 4–6 or more years of experience and hands-on ownership of multi-entity close processes. IFRS and consolidation experience are required; NetSuite and SaaS experience are strong advantages.
