Portfolio Accounting Manager, Software Group
Toronto, ON | Hybrid, 3 days a week in office
Our client is a profitable, fast-growing software company that acquires and scales software businesses. They’re hiring a Portfolio Accounting Manager to own end-to-end accounting for a group of 5 to 10 operating companies.
What you’ll own
- Full-cycle close, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple portfolio entities
- Final sign-off on work from a supporting team of analysts, AR, and AP
- Consolidation and audit-ready books across a multi-currency group
- Onboarding newly acquired companies onto group systems and processes
What we’re looking for
- CPA designation (required)
- 4–6+ years of experience, with multi-entity close ownership
- Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge
- Audit or public practice background is a big plus
- NetSuite and SaaS experience are a bonus

Responsibilities
Own full-cycle accounting, close, reconciliations, and reporting for 5 to 10 portfolio companies, including consolidation and audit-ready books across a multi-currency group. Review and sign off on supporting team work and onboard newly acquired companies to group systems and processes.
Requirements
A CPA designation is required, along with 4–6+ years of experience and ownership of multi-entity closes. Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge are required; audit or public practice experience is a plus, while NetSuite and SaaS experience are bonuses.
