Key Responsibilities
- Assembling fabricated and purchased parts as required by the organization.
- Testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications as required.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and instructions.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience: 1-5 years mechanical assembly experience is required
- Basic computer skills an asset and experience working within an ERP system is also an asset
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the metal fabrication field
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift 50 lbs.
- Attributes: Attention to detail, punctuality, and a collaborative team mindset.
- Able to operate an overhead crane (Jaylor will train and certify, experience is an asset)
- Able to operate forklifts (Jaylor will train and certify, experience is an asset)
- Welding experience an asset.
- Great communication skills
- Has an eye for detail
- Enjoys working with machines

Hours: Here at Jaylor you would be working a 4x10 shift, meaning you get a long weekend - every weekend.
Pay: $21.90-26.90 per hour (We offer competitive wages based on skill and experience)
Work Location: This role requires you to work in person at our main location, located at 071213 10th Line, Orton ON.
