  • Complete quality risk assessments and recommend appropriate controls.
  • Develop and implement new quality initiatives to improve compliance, consistency and operational performance.
  • Provide coverage as Alternate QAP when designated and approved, carrying out applicable QAP responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary education in science, quality assurance or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in quality assurance within cannabis production or another regulated manufacturing environment; Canadian cannabis experience is strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Good Production Practices (GPP), documentation controls, lot release, investigations, CAPA, change control and quality risk assessments.
  • Experience coordinating quality activities, guiding employees and following up across departments.
  • Strong written communication, organizational and computer skills, including spreadsheets and electronic record systems.

What will make you successful

  • Exceptional attention to detail: You consistently identify discrepancies in records, labels, analytical results and inventory information.
  • Thorough follow-through: You track outstanding items and verify that actions are completed effectively.
