NBCC is currently seeking a dynamic and competent leader for the position of

Duration: October 2026 to September 2027
Location: Saint John
Salary Range: $2,297.00 to $2,725.00 bi-weekly.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Business Development Operations Manager, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the development of new business and revenue opportunities for NBCC. These areas of new business relate to the current and emerging educational and training needs of the labour market.
Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To, The Following:
- Coordinating implementation of program processes for new/revised delivery approval.
- Conducting sourcing for RFP's (Check Federal, Provincial, and International systems to look for potential contracts).
- Reviewing and researching postings to see what is viable and then sending an expression of interest.
- Coordinating curriculum internally (working closely with Deans, Managers, and Learning Design Consultants).
- Conducting sourcing and research to find new curriculums for classes/programs.
- Coordinating program/class information to Marketing and collaborating with them on various promotional activities.
- Communicating with Department Heads, Deans, Student Services, Facilities, IT, and almost all other departments within NBCC.
- Booking classes, notifying security of when classes are, working with IT, getting keys to appropriate parties, ordering food and beverages for classes, ensuring order is delivered on time, administering course surveys, and evaluating survey results.
- Working with the Professional and Part-Time Learning (PPL) manager/Academic Chair on sourcing and hiring instructors for classes.
- Coordinating communication on curriculum, program setup, and responding to inquiries.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in a related field of study and five (5) years of related work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Candidates must have strong customer service skills and be a self-motivator.
- Demonstrate organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to multitask, meet deadlines, and be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates high initiative
- Demonstrated ethical and objective decision-making and problem-solving abilities to support students.
- A strong, service-oriented focus.
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated skills in cross-cultural communications.
- Organization and accuracy.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
Occasional travel within New Brunswick is required, and candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
